For so long this season, the Gunners looked as though they were finally about to put to bed their inability to compete in the Premier League, having been stationed at the top for the largest amount of time out of all the competitors. Mesut Ozil has sealed a spectacular €47 million move to Arsenal after signing a five-year contract. The Gunners have smashed their transfer record to land the Germany international, who underwent the second part of his medical in Munich on Monday after agreeing personal terms with the club.
