Deputy Prime Minister and Arsenal fan Nick Clegg has been speaking about his team's loss to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

He says: "I'm heartbroken. I'm heartbroken. I really am."

Asked if manager Arsene Wenger should quit, he replies: "I don't think so. I know what it's like to lead a team that goes through ups and downs. But I wouldn't compare myself to Arsene Wenger. He probably wouldn't like that."

Patrick Vieira :

'With Arsenal, it's always up and down. When Arsenal have a good day, they can beat any team in the world,'

'But maybe they lack consistency to win
silverware. When you look at the Arsenal
starting XI they are fantastic players, but theybmay need to believe in themselves more that they can win something.

Maybe that's why they haven't achieved the height of their potential.'

Remember Inter 3-0 Arsenal at the
Emirates?

And then Arsenal 5-1 Inter at their
stadium??

They will fight till the very last minute of the game.

‎'In 10 years’ time I still want to be at Arsenal, winning trophies for my club and for the national team as well. I’ve been at Arsenal since I was nine or 10. It feels like I’ve always been there, the club’s been great to me and I feel I owe them that to be there and to stay around." - Jack Wilshere

Endrit - Arsenal fan Piers Morgan tells BBC Radio 5 live that he believes the time has come for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to resign.

Although I hate this little prick I agree with him but he's so annoying always putting pressure on our own players and criticising them

Arsene Wenger cut a forlorn figure after the match as he sat alone with his thoughts in his room off the home dressing room for 25 minutes before completing his media commitments.

i guess these is it. he'll resign at end of th season. ill miss him more than anyone.

yesterday wilshere and wenger weren't the two
who were crying....
It was three...
Cause i was with them....:-(

Haib - If the manager has no desire no ambition to succeed this will manifest to the players. And now Wenger real aim is top 4 and now the players will fight tooth and nail for it and we WILL make the top 4, personally i don't give a shit about top 4 as anything less then 1st is a losers position.

Oh my dearest Arsenal, this shape and position you are is really awkward, the past 8 years have been in agony. Many chants and abusive comments have been rolled over you.

Fans cries week in week out for your inconsistencies, even the useless yids are now making real jest of our former mighty empire. London has changed from usual red to other deem colours

Arsenal arise from your slumber and regain thy freedom, during these trophiless years, many fans have shown their true nature, raining abuses and insults on the club we use to love and have happy moments with week in week out.

Now we've seen fans who can stand the test of time, i blame nobody cos no one want to see his beloved club go down the ladder of the giants.

We are still behind you cos we've forever pledge our allegiance..No retreat..no surrender. Our love is forever pure. Arsenal forever, Arsenal till death. Glory must come in near time..We hope & believe. COYG♥

Looking at the bigger picture, in 16 years at the club he's become a bit of an institution. He's never been outside the top four and I think we should wait to pass judgment until the last game of the season is completed. If he gets in the top four again then he's achieved what most of the people want at Arsenal Football Club.

Whoever say whatever Arsene is the Boss for me forever whether he decides to remain or leave. Im toooo hurted enough this week...
Win, lose or tie, Im Arsenal Till I die..
Gooner Forever..

Battle for Pride of London

Arsenal vs Chelsea Preview Arsenal will tomorrow face Chelsea in Super Sunday’s 1.30pm kick off. Chelsea have released a statement saying the game will be going ahead for the time being as long as there is not much more snow but have warned those attending to allow extra time for their journey to Stamford Bridge. Both teams will be looking to get back to winning ways, with both London clubs dropping points over the last few weeks. Arsenal will want to get back on track after losing 2-0 to Manchester City, whilst Chelsea lost a 2 goal lead against Southampton a few days ago. In terms of players who will miss the game, Chelsea will be without Nigerian pair John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses, who are at the African Cup of Nations tournament. Whilst they welcome back Terry, Ba and Torres to full fitness. Arsenal have more problems with Gervinho, Arteta, and Rosicky all missing this game. I think we could see a line-up of; Szczesny Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs Diaby Wilsher...

Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich Preview

Champions League – Round of 16  Arsenal vs Bayern Munich  Tuesday 19th February, 2013, at    19:45 UK Time  Emirates Stadium, London, England Daunting Task For Gunners Arsenal continue their search for a first Champions League crown knowing that their best hope of lifting the trophy is to finish in England’s top four and start again next year. Defeat to Blackburn on Saturday means their FA Cup hopes are over for this year, and seemingly, the club’s last realistic chance of silverware.  This has been an inconsistent season for Arsenal and they have not been their usual selves even in Europe, where they are traditionally strong in the group stage. The last German side to visit the Emirates Stadium, Schalke, ended a long unbeaten run at home in Europe for Arsenal. Bayern Munich, who thrashed Schalke at the weekend and are out of sight at the top of the Bundesliga, appear to present a formidable task which it is hard to see the Premie...

Arsenal Down, But By No Means Out.

The beautiful game of football has once again shown how quickly things can change. After being knocked out of the FA cup by a non Premier League side (Blackburn Rovers) and being humbled at the hands of European giants Bayern Munich,  Arsenal 's average showing continued with a loss to their North London Rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. After this latest setback, even manager Arsene Wenger was quick to acknowledge the harsh reality facing the club “It will be a massive challenge, massive. I said before the game we couldn't drop these points today and I maintain that after the game. Especially the way the game went, it is difficult to understand how we can lose games like that.” The importance of the next ten games for Arsenal cannot be understated. The Gunners have only two of the top seven teams yet to be played (against Everton &  Manchester United ) both of which are at the Emirates. A similar run like last season (7 games unbeaten) would be required for Arsenal to have...
