Wenger "‘This is unfinished business for us'"

Arsène Wenger admits that the Club has “unfinished business” with the Champions League on the eve of their last-16 clash with Bayern Munich.
The Gunners reached the final of Europe’s premier club competition in 2006, only for Jens Lehmann to be sent off as they lost to Barcelona in Paris.
And on the back of their surprise FA Cup exit at the hands of Blackburn Rovers, Wenger says the Champions League has now taken on even more significance.
“It is massive for us,” he said. “Not because of what happened on Saturday but because we started the season with a lot of scepticism.
“I think we have made improvements and it would be nice for us to continue with this improvement until the end of the season.
“Of course [the competition] is unfinished business as long as you don’t win it. If I say to you we will win it this season you will laugh at me because we just lost against Blackburn. But it can happen - football is not predictable.”

Arsenal are set to receive a huge sponsor boost from Puma at £180m, additionally they  have a new Emirates deal worth £150m which was signed 2 months ago. Wenger is going to be given around a £120 mln transfer kitty out of that. For the first time in years this seems to be likely. In earlier years, the £400m Emirates Stadium drained Arsenal resources and the club  mainted a sell our players to maintain club finances policy. After Henry, Song, Fabregas, Adebayor, Clichy, Toure, Nasri & RVP... additionally, a big influx of money came from the sales of the Highbury Square apartments...that time is gone. For the first time we are going to be in control. All signs point to a spending summer and  we better have new star players. Another good thing is that all our key players have contracts and no player is going to be holding Arsenal ransom to their demands. For the first time we might have a clean season without p...
