Arsenal vs Liverpool Preview

On Wednesday night Arsenal will face Liverpool at the Emirates, in which both teams will be looking to snatch all 3 points and improve their respective league positions. Despite both teams having extremely poor seasons, it may surprise you that a Liverpool win will bring them on level points with 6th place Arsenal, who are currently on 37 points.
Arsenal have enjoyed success in recent games with a 3-2 win in the FA Cup against Brighton Hove Albion, following a 5-1 win against West Ham United last week at the Emirates. Liverpool lost 3-2 on Sunday to League 2 side Oldham Athletic. It’s not, however, a game that we can be convinced that Liverpool were poor in, because in all fairness they didn’t play particularly badly and Oldham did very well to secure the win and go through to the 5th round of the FA Cup.
It was the same situation for us with Bradford earlier in the season. A team’s performance can quickly change and we shouldn’t be looking at this game thinking that they will be easy opponents. Despite Liverpool’s fall in recent years, they have always been a consistent challenge for Arsenal and that has shown with the last few games between the two clubs being very close.
Arsenal will welcome back Thomas Vermaelen to the team, however Mikel Arteta and Francis Coquelin will remain on the side lines. Also we will see the return of several key players who were rested for the Brighton game on Saturday.
On the Liverpool game, Wenger said;
“Thomas Vermaelen is back available. And the players who were rested are back in contention, too.
“(Coquelin and Arteta) they are a bit short – 100 per cent [they are unavailable] for Wednesday. Even for Saturday [they could be short], but there is a little chance they will be available at the weekend.”
Arsenal will most likely line-up as;
Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Wilshere Ramsey
Cazorla
Walcott Giroud Podolski
I don’t expect Diaby to feature from the start simply because his fast return to the team and the minutes he has clocked up in recent weeks will surely make Wenger wary. Liverpool will be looking to rebuild and go level on points with the Gunners this weekend, and with a strike force of Sturridge, Suarez and Sterling, they will certainly cause our defence a few problems. Let’s hope Arsenal can push on from recent results and gain all 3 points as we look to rebuild our season.

Blunder by University and still careless

I am the last year Student of Khwopa Engineering College, affiliated to PurbanchalUniversity, Biratnagar. I got "I" grade in Design of steel and timber structure. 'I' refers to Incomplete(Not Qualified) or Absent in exam.  And i don't have neither of them. It's a huge blunder by University. I have already submitted a application to my College Principal after the day I got this result. And today its gonna be almost 2 weeks that i submitted that application. Still no progress at all. Exam section head said, exam paper misplaced at first, later exam paper lost, now he says they found it and will publish my result till this tuesday.  Its like their tomorrow never gonna come. And another bad news is student with "I" grade can't attend chance exam, have to wait for back exam and this will force me to lost my whole single year. Its not a joke. Not a single fault of me, still i'm suffering this undeserved pressure. I w...

Arsenal's Lost Boys: An Entire Transferred Arsenal XI

GK :  Manuel Almunia Left Club: 2012 Joined: Watford Fee: Free Well, this is an optimistic way to kick things off. Despite playing 109 games for the Gunners in almost 8 years of service, Almunia never threatened to knock Pat Jennings or David Seaman off their plinths among the ranks of legendary Arsenal ‘keepers. The Spaniard’s time at Arsenal was characterized by much scorn from the Highbury/Emirates faithful, as the quality that the team possessed at the time was somewhat nullified by Almunia’s conspicuous lack of consistent quality in goal. His first four years at the club were spent in the shadow of the vastly superior Jens Lehmann, and his break following the German’s sale in 2007-08 was characterized by a vast discrepancy in performances. Though Almunia played some outstanding matches—most notably in a 2-2 draw in the 2009-10 Champions’ League quarterfinal against Barcelona—they were few and far between. His poor displays i...
